Responsibilities:
- Keep projects on time and budget
- Lead the Project Coordinator in her administrative tasks
- Create relationships with clients, employees and suppliers
- Field questions from clients/field team
- Lead and mentor apprentices
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Delegate tasks and oversee project progress
- Manage material purchasing and project estimates
- Do site check-ups regularly to maintain quality control
- Train employees on best practices
- Work with owners to determine SOP for the company and strategic growth plan
- Interview new candidates for plumbing positions
- Manage fixture and material orders with help from Project Coordinator
- Oversee company when Owners are away.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber
- Journeyperson certification
- Ideal but not required at least 1 year experience as project manager
- Strong oral communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with various plumbing materials and techniques
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to integrity
- Clean driving record and background check
Compensation: $37-46 per hour
